We have 4 super fun robots that increase in difficulty as your child masters each one. This will help your child get ready to take the more advanced Lego Mindstorms robotics classes, join a Lego League or jump into working with Vex robotics platforms.
Stage one: Push button Robots
In stage one students work with their very own robot to learn the very basics of programing robot behavior.
“Program and guide your robot through a course of your own design, learning about pre-programmed robotics behaviors. Design an obstacle course for your ‘bot, and teach it how to navigate using the four buttons: Left, right, forward, and execute.”
Stage two: Finch Robot
In stage two students work in pairs with their robot to learn the next stage in programing. They will learn how to work with the graphical interface Snap to learn apply logical and critical thinking and transition to Scratch a more advanced graphical interface.

Stage three: mBot
In stage three students work in small groups with their robot and continue to work with Scratch/mBlock while being introduced to the Arduino IDE

Stage four: GoPiGo
In stage four students work in small groups with their robot to transition from the graphical programing language Scratch to programing it in Python

Note: If you are planning on working with Vex IQ or Vex EDR this program will help you to jump right in with very little learning curve. Both programs work with Modkit which is a graphical interface much like the ones being used in this program.
